Here be another "30 minute sprint" painting...It's not bad for 30 minutes, but I missed the values again, and the colors were just a touch too saturated...oh, well.

My friend, Sebastien just challenged Oliver and I to do a cityscape speed drawing, in 45 minutes. Here is my first attempt. Not too bad color-wise, but I really messed up the value...

My good friend, Sebastien has been teaching me how to paint, and just started this fun exercise--quick paintings in 30 minutes using no color sampling and only one layer. Obviously, I have a long way to go, but this exercise really does help me strive for more decisive and controlled strokes. Not to mention, I am rapidly learning to have an eye for color...
